Hi there, I'm Stephanie. I teach yoga on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic. I surf. I run. I meditate. And I love Nutela and coffee and avocados.

Seriously, I'm a writer, author and yoga teacher currently living in Cabarete, Dominican Republic. I believe yoga is key to helping the mind tune out obstacles in the way of our happiness and tune in to what truly feeds our soul. I'm a practicing yogi for more than 15 years, and an avid runner, dancer and lover of the island life.
I moved to Cabarete in January 2019 with my husband and daughter and was quickly inspired to teach yoga in this beautiful island community. I founded Salt Sand Yoga to offer private and group yoga classes around the North Coast to practitioners of all ages, and other yoga-inspired events and products soon to come. An Ashtanga-based vinyasa class that's accessible for all levels of yoga. This class starts with dynamic stretching and moves through a blood- pumping flow to awaken the body.
A slow flow class that connects the breath and the body in a mindful, gentle practice. We spend more time in each posture as we move from a gentle warm-up to a restful savasana, helping the body find more space and flexibility in the muscles and connective tissue. This is a great class to massage away tension from a day’s worth of activity.
Part storytime, part yoga, my kids yoga class takes your little ones on an adventure while enjoying the core practice of yoga and meditation. Great for kids aged 3 to 9, but accessible for toddlers and tweens, too!
